Trump Executive Order Establishes Medicare Policy Direction

President Trump has issued an Executive Order (EO) on the Medicare program. EOs do not directly establish federal regulations, but establish policy directives for the executive branch agencies. The EO covers a wide range of issues including Medicare Advantage, primary care, FDA and CMS approval and coverage processes, data transparency, FFS Medicare rates, and facilitating HSA utilization. 33 States Passed Laws This Year That Address Drug Pricing

Drug pricing is a major concern among voters, but Congress has not made much progress in addressing this issue. Instead, we are seeing activity to address this issue among the states. MA Enrollment Projections for 2020
