CMS Releases 2021 MA Rate Updates, Projects +5.22%

CMS released the 2021 Medicare Advantage Advance (MA) Rate Announcement on April 6, 2020. The finalized rate updates are estimated to increase MA plan payments by +1.66%, 0.73 percentage points higher than the advanced notice, with another +3.56% increase due to plan risk coding behavior.
